PhotoFun Privacy Policy
This policy explains what PhotoFun does with your data. PhotoFun is a local photo viewer with a liquid-mirror loupe and optional advertising.
1. Photos and media
- PhotoFun reads photos you choose so it can display them and apply viewing effects.
- Photos are processed on your device. We do not upload your library to our servers.
- Export / share / save only happens when you explicitly choose those actions.
2. Motion sensors
Modes such as 3D Card and Depth Parallax use motion sensors so the view can tilt. Motion data stays on-device.
3. Advertising and tracking
- Free PhotoFun may show advertisements served by Google AdMob (banner ads).
- Third parties, including Google, use advertising identifiers and similar technologies (such as the iOS Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA and the Android Advertising ID) to serve, measure, and personalize ads, subject to your consent and device settings.
- iOS: App Tracking Transparency is requested before personalized ads. You can choose Ask App Not to Track.
- Android: Personalized ads may use your Advertising ID. You can limit this in Google Play / device settings (for example Opt out of Ads Personalization, or reset / delete the Advertising ID, depending on your Android version).
- EU/UK and similar regions: Google’s UMP consent form may appear when required. You can refuse personalized ads; non-personalized ads may still appear.
- AdMob and related Google advertising services may collect or process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, and approximate location or other coarse device data, as described in Google’s policies.
- Learn more: How Google uses data from sites or apps that use our services and Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. Crash monitoring
Builds may send crash reports to Sentry (stack traces, device model, OS, app version). We avoid sending photo contents or full photo paths.
5. Data we do not collect
No accounts. We do not sell personal information. Core viewing does not require email. We do not currently offer in-app purchases.
6. Children
PhotoFun is not directed at children under 13 (or the local equivalent minimum age).
7. Your choices
- Revoke photo or motion access in system Settings.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (reset or deny tracking for PhotoFun).
- Android: Google Settings / Play Store ads settings — Opt out of Ads Personalization, or reset / delete your Advertising ID.
- Uninstall the app to remove local PhotoFun data on the device.
8. Contact
Questions about privacy: contact the publisher listed on the App Store / Google Play Store listing for PhotoFun.
