This policy describes how Immrpat ("we") handles information in the Android app WakeProof. It applies only to this app. WakeProof has no account and no WakeProof server.
Alarm settings stay on the device. That includes the time, repeat days, wake mission, vibration choice, and selected sound. If you use the scan mission, the text of the QR code or barcode you choose is stored on the phone so the alarm can match it later. Camera frames, shake motion, step counts, and light readings are used only while a mission is running and are not uploaded by WakeProof.
Uninstalling the app deletes this on-device data. Android backup of the app is turned off.
WakeProof is free and shows ads with Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:
These are used to show ads, measure them, and limit fraud. In the European Economic Area and the UK, the app asks for your ad choices before requesting ads. You can also reset or limit personalized ads in Android Settings, under Google, then Ads. The wording varies by phone.
Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
The camera is used only for the scan mission, on the device, through Google ML Kit barcode scanning. The microphone is not used. Motion, step, and light sensors are used only to complete a wake mission. WakeProof does not send those readings to a server we operate.
WakeProof is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app should not be listed for an audience that includes children.
Alarm data we store is only on your phone. Uninstall the app to delete it. Ad partners keep data under their own policies. To ask a question or request help with information they hold, email pat23.w@gmail.com with the subject WakeProof.
Connections to Google for ads use HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this page. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
