Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Thanapat Wongchalermthan (“we”) handles information in the Android app My Saju. It applies only to this app. Readings in the app are entertainment and cultural interpretation, not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Information stored on your device
If you save a chart, My Saju stores the following in private app storage on this device (SharedPreferences). We do not operate an account system or upload your chart to our servers:
- Name or nickname you enter
- Birth date, optional birth time, city, coordinates, timezone, gender, and day-boundary preference
- Optional partner profiles you add for matching
- Language preference (English or Thai)
- Optional week aim, morning-notification preference, and a cached today-score snapshot for the home-screen widget
Android Auto Backup is disabled for this app, so those values are not copied to Google Drive backup. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage deletes local data.
Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not collect or store on our own servers:
- Your name, email, or phone number (unless you email us)
- Payment information (the app is free; ads are the only monetization)
- A login or cloud profile
- Precise GPS location (city and coordinates are what you type or pick for the chart)
- Photos, contacts, microphone, or files from your device
If you email us for support, we will use that message only to reply and will not add you to a marketing list.
Permissions and network
- Internet and network state: used to request Google AdMob ads (banner, native, and optional rewarded) and related consent / ad measurement traffic.
- Notifications: optional. If you turn on the morning notification, the app may show a daily fortune summary at about 07:00.
- Boot completed: used only to reschedule that optional morning notification after a device restart.
- Advertising ID: Google’s ads SDK may use the advertising ID. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads (wording varies by device).
Advertising and third-party services
My Saju shows Google AdMob banner ads, a native ad after yearly, monthly, and weekly forecast readings, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch to unlock extra forecast years or another partner slot. Google and its advertising partners may collect device or advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, app activity, and diagnostics to serve, measure, and prevent fraud in ads. In the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland, the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may show a consent form before personalized ads. You can reopen ad choices from Privacy policy in the app when Google requires a privacy-options entry point. Refusing personalized ads may still allow non-personalized ads.
The release build does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or sign-in.
We do not sell your information.
How we use information
- Calculate Four Pillars, forecasts, compatibility, and Thai Thaksa on the device
- Show optional daily fortune on a widget or notification
- Show ads and measure them through Google
- Respond to support requests you send to pat23.w@gmail.com
Children
My Saju is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the digital age of consent). It is not part of the Designed for Families program. Do not enter a child’s birth data unless you are their parent or guardian. Personalized ads are not intended for children.
Data retention and deletion
Local chart data stays on the device until you clear storage or uninstall. Google retains advertising data under its own policies. There is no server copy of your chart for us to delete. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. For data that exists only on your device, clear app storage or uninstall. For advertising data held by Google, use Google’s tools linked above, or email us and we will point you to the right Google form.
International processing
We are based in Thailand. Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries. Google describes its transfer safeguards in its privacy policy.
Changes
We may update this page. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
