Privacy Policy for Jigsaw Rush
This Privacy Policy explains how Thanapat Wongchalermthan
(“we”, “us”, or “the developer”) handles information in the Android game
Jigsaw Rush (package name com.jigsaw.swap).
Jigsaw Rush is a single-player puzzle game. You do not create an account. We do not operate our own servers that store your gameplay. The data described below is either kept on your device or collected by Google when ads are shown.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who downloads or plays Jigsaw Rush from Google Play or another authorized source. It does not cover websites, ads, or services that you open from an advertisement, which have their own policies.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores a small amount of game state on your phone or tablet so the campaign can resume:
- Which campaign levels you have completed
- How many lives you have left (you start with 3)
- How many finished games remain until the next interstitial ad
This information stays on the device. We cannot read it remotely. The app does not back up this data to Google Drive or another cloud backup service.
Jigsaw Rush does not ask for access to your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, or files. Pictures in the campaign are built into the app. Players cannot import photos from the gallery.
3. Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you email us)
- Payment information (the app is free; ads are the only monetization)
- A login or player profile
- Precise GPS location
- Photos or files from your device
If you email us for support, we will use that message only to reply and will not add you to a marketing list.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Jigsaw Rush is free and shows ads from Google AdMob:
- Rewarded ads when you choose to watch an ad to refill lives after they run out
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads after every 3 finished games (a win or a timeout), unless you are out of lives and need the rewarded ad instead
Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process information such as:
- Android Advertising ID
- IP address and approximate location derived from it (not GPS)
- Device type, operating system, language, and similar technical data
- Ad views, clicks, and whether a rewarded ad was completed
- Diagnostic information about ad loading and display
Google uses this information to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud and invalid traffic, and (where allowed) personalize ads. We do not receive a name or email from this process. We do not sell your information.
Google’s own disclosures:
5. Permissions
The app requests these Android permissions:
- Internet — to load ads
- Network state — to know whether a connection is available before requesting an ad
- Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob as described above
6. How we use information
On-device game data is used only to:
- Unlock campaign levels in order
- Track lives and when an interstitial ad is due
- Let you continue a campaign on that device
Advertising data is used by Google to show, measure, and (where permitted) personalize ads, and to keep the ad system secure.
7. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where European data-protection law applies:
- Storing campaign progress and lives on your device is based on our legitimate interest in providing the game you chose to play, and on performance of the service you requested.
- Personalized advertising, where it is shown, is based on consent obtained through Google’s consent tools, where those tools are required.
- Non-personalized ads, fraud prevention, and serving ads that the platform requires to function may rely on legitimate interests as described by Google.
You can withdraw consent for personalized ads in the consent form when it is shown, and in your device ad settings (see section 9).
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share on-device game progress with anyone.
Ads are provided by Google. Google may share advertising data with its own partners as described in Google’s policies. We do not control those partners.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to defend legal claims, or if you ask us to in writing.
9. Your choices
- Reset or delete Advertising ID. On Android, open Settings, then Privacy (or Google), then Ads. You can reset the Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization.
- Skip rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional. You do not have to watch one unless you want to refill lives. You can wait or reinstall later; lives are stored only on the device.
- Clear game data. Uninstalling Jigsaw Rush deletes campaign progress and lives from that device. Android Settings → Apps → Jigsaw Rush → Storage → Clear data does the same while leaving the app installed.
- Personalized ads in Europe. Where Google shows a consent message, you can accept or refuse personalized ads. Refusing may still allow non-personalized ads.
10. Retention
Game progress, lives, and the interstitial counter remain on the device until you clear app data or uninstall. We have no copy to delete on a server.
Google retains advertising data according to Google’s own retention periods. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
11. Security
Game data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. The app uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) for ad traffic. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device locked and updated.
12. Children
Jigsaw Rush is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the digital age of consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through an ad or by emailing us, contact us and we will delete what we hold. Because ads are shown, parents should use Google Play family controls if they do not want a child to use this app.
13. International processing
We are based in Thailand. Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your own. Google describes its transfer safeguards in its privacy policy.
14. California and similar US state laws
We do not sell personal information. Sharing of Advertising ID and related device data with Google for advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out of ads personalization in Android Settings as described in section 9.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We do not have a server-side profile of Play users that we can look up by name.
15. Your rights (EEA, UK, and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
For data that exists only on your device, use Clear data or uninstall (section 9). For advertising data held by Google, use Google’s tools and policies linked in section 4, or email us and we will point you to the right Google request form. We cannot delete Google’s ad records on your behalf beyond what Google allows publishers to do.
16. Changes
We may update this policy if the game, ads, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected in the Play Store listing when required.
