Privacy Policy for Final Form Rival
This Privacy Policy explains how Thanapat Wongchalermthan
(“we”, “us”, or “the developer”) handles information in the Android game
Final Form Rival (package name
com.rockscissorpaper.game).
Final Form Rival is a single-player rock-paper-scissors game against on-device rival characters. You do not create an account. We do not operate our own servers that store your gameplay. The data described below is either kept on your device or collected by Google when ads are shown.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who downloads or plays Final Form Rival from Google Play or another authorized source. It does not cover websites, ads, or services that you open from an advertisement, which have their own policies.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores a small amount of game state on your phone or tablet so visits, streaks, and the shrine can resume:
- How many lives you have left today (you start with 3 each local day)
- The last day lives were reset
- Which rival you last visited
- Per-rival bond / stage progress
- Which rival galleries (shrines) you have unlocked
- Which stills, favorite stills, and clips you have unlocked
- A short history of your recent throws, used only on the device to pick the rival’s next hand
This information stays in the app’s private storage. We cannot read it remotely. We do not operate a cloud save. If Android Backup is enabled on your device, the system may include this local game state in a device backup because the app allows Android backup.
Final Form Rival does not ask for access to your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, or files. Character art and clips are built into the app.
3. Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you email us)
- Payment information (the app is free; ads are the only monetization)
- A login or player profile
- Precise GPS location
- Photos or files from your device
If you email us for support, we will use that message only to reply and will not add you to a marketing list.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Final Form Rival is free and shows rewarded ads from Google AdMob:
- When you choose to watch an ad for 1 extra life after you run out of lives
- When you choose to watch an ad to unlock a rival’s clip after her shrine is open
There are no banner ads and no automatic interstitial ads. Rewarded ads play only if you tap to watch them.
Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process information such as:
- Android Advertising ID
- IP address and approximate location derived from it (not GPS)
- Device type, operating system, language, and similar technical data
- Ad views, clicks, and whether a rewarded ad was completed
- Diagnostic information about ad loading and display
Google uses this information to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud and invalid traffic, and (where allowed) personalize ads. We do not receive a name or email from this process. We do not sell your information.

5. Permissions
The app requests these Android permissions:
- Internet — to load ads
- Network state — to know whether a connection is available before requesting an ad
- Advertising ID — merged by Google Mobile Ads / AdMob as described above
6. How we use information
On-device game data is used only to:
- Track daily lives and continue the same rival after an ad
- Advance or revert a rival’s form and unlock shrine stills
- Remember favorites and unlocked clips on that device
- Choose the rival’s next throw from recent on-device history
Advertising data is used by Google to show, measure, and (where permitted) personalize ads, and to keep the ad system secure.
7. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where European data-protection law applies:
- Storing game progress and lives on your device is based on our legitimate interest in providing the game you chose to play, and on performance of the service you requested.
- Personalized advertising, where it is shown, is based on consent obtained through Google’s advertising platform, where that is required. This app does not currently show a separate in-app IAB consent form.
- Non-personalized ads, fraud prevention, and serving ads that the platform requires to function may rely on legitimate interests as described by Google.
You can opt out of ads personalization in your device ad settings (see section 9).
8. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share on-device game progress with anyone.
Ads are provided by Google. Google may share advertising data with its own partners as described in Google’s policies. We do not control those partners.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to defend legal claims, or if you ask us to in writing.
9. Your choices
- Reset or delete Advertising ID. On Android, open Settings, then Privacy (or Google), then Ads. You can reset the Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization.
- Skip rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional. You do not have to watch one unless you want an extra life or a clip. You can wait until lives reset the next local day.
- Clear game data. Uninstalling Final Form Rival deletes progress, lives, stills, and clips from that device. Android Settings → Apps → Final Form Rival → Storage → Clear data does the same while leaving the app installed.
10. Retention
Game progress remains on the device until you clear app data or uninstall. We have no gameplay copy to delete on a server.
Google retains advertising data according to Google’s own retention periods. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
11. Security
Game data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. The app uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) for ad traffic. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device locked and updated.
12. Children
Final Form Rival includes stylized character art, bond / shrine collection, and advertising. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the digital age of consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Play target audience is not children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through an ad or by emailing us, contact us and we will delete what we hold. Because ads are shown, parents should use Google Play family controls if they do not want a child to use this app.
13. International processing
We are based in Thailand. Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your own. Google describes its transfer safeguards in its privacy policy.
14. California and similar US state laws
We do not sell personal information. Sharing of Advertising ID and related device data with Google for advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out of ads personalization in Android Settings as described in section 9.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We do not have a server-side profile of Play users that we can look up by name.
15. Your rights (EEA, UK, and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
For data that exists only on your device, use Clear data or uninstall (section 9). For advertising data held by Google, use Google’s tools and policies linked in section 4, or email us and we will point you to the right Google request form. We cannot delete Google’s ad records on your behalf beyond what Google allows publishers to do.
16. Changes
We may update this policy if the game, ads, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected in the Play Store listing when required.
